CORAL HULL: A PLACE IN HEAVEN [PICTORIAL]
DON'T WALK BY ME

"For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole." [Matthew 9:21, The Holy Bible, KJV]

Jesus, don't you walk by me today.
I want to be healed in way
that I’ve never neen healed before.
If you leave me now,
along this dark and dusty street,
it will be like the last light of day
moving down between the hills.

Oh Jesus, I have waited for so long.
I have waited in the crowd,
amongst these strangers all my life.
If you leave me lost and low,
like a bruised rose in the briar,
I’m not sure that I can linger,
until the next time you pass by.

Jesus, don’t you leave me here this way.
Please forgive me for my brazen tongue,
filled with so much desperation.
But you are my only one.
I've know this all along.
My only hope of freedom
in a world that is judged and dying,
in a world, that has been plowed
into a deep bed of deception.

Oh Jesus, I have waited for so long.
So many go beside you, how will you ever know,
this weary ragged crawling woman desires you.
Don't let me be the one, you leave behind.

Jesus, please don't you walk by me today.
There will never be another like you.
I've waited for so long
and you are my only chance,
for a light that fades within me,
in the shadow of your footfall,
where I travel amongst the stones.

Jesus, please don't walk by me today.
Don't leave me here to fade into the night,
along this dark and dusty street,
when your feet are all I see and know,
with my fading eyes and head bowed low,
and my reaching arms coming your way.
when only a touch of your hem will do,
knowing my life of tragedy and failure
will be changed forevermore.

Oh Jesus, I have waited for so long.
I have waited here, hoping for the dawn,
and that you would pass by here today,
with your presence brighter than the sun.

"But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour." [Matthew 9:22, The Holy Bible, KJV]
