Jesus, I have waited for you, for so long.

holding my blood, pain of the heaving
oceans of the earth, upsurping my womb.
My trembling hand is reaching out to you,
driven by the power of faith, I saw
your eyes, so gentle and strong, with
a purity of spirit, that I have never known.
Jesus, I have waited for you, for so long.
Don't pass me by, don't leave me alone,
Your faded hem is good enough for me.
You are my only hope, this is my moment.
I am saved. It is the first day of my life.
