SHORE OF LIFE
"And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

A light fell onto my figurehead,
Across a raging faithless sea.
I raise these oars for landfall,
To head towards the reef.
My life smashing into tides,
A ghost ship already sunk,
Face down in sand I prayed,
Still clutching the briny rope.
Sheltered by His Holy Light,
Anchored on this shore of life.
