THERE IS A TEMPLE IN MY SOUL

There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord.
Everlasting to everlasting,
Foundations of truth, holding firm.
Heavenly specifications,
Upon the blessed cornerstone.
There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord,
Where moth and rust do not corrupt,
And where thieves cannot break in.
Bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh.
Your light within, cannot be stolen.
There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord.
When the storms came, it stood firm.
With a song in my spirit
To be sung just for Him.
Will you meet with God,
In the temple of your soul?
Is it there? Is it still standing?
There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord.
He builds it with his law.
He has written in my heart,
The revelation of Himself,
Where rooms are made of mercy,
Where Only His Word remains.
There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord,
A house with many mansions,
There is one for you. Will you receive it?
Will you enter the Kingdom of God?
There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord.
He is building his church
In my old heart of stone,
That He turned into flesh.
I meet Him, in the temple of my soul.
He is with me, in my time of sorrow.
There is a temple in my soul
Built by The Lord.
When the floods came,
The torrent struck ...
And the gates of Hell
Have not prevailed ...
Oh no, Lord, they will
Not prevail, Will not prevail.
They will not prevail against it.
