Windy days, still days, hot days, wet or dry days, day or night, there might be nothing. What it seemed to be dependant upon was my state of mind. The more happy and spiritual and relaxed I felt, the more likely it was to happen, and almost right away. If I got scared, had a headache, or was anxious, expectant, conscious, self-conscious, in a down mood, or having a CFIDS relapse where my energy was depleted, then it seemed to stop.
One night I got scared after another lamp came on and I shouted, "Go to the light, okay!" Then three very loud raps followed me through the house into three rooms, from the bedroom, to the study, into the main living area. Then a lamp in the loungeroom blew a bulb and the next morning the study bulb was blown as well. While I had told 'them' to 'go to the light', I didn't feel comfortable with this, since I didn't know whether there was a light to go to! Also I didn't know what I was dealing with and I didn't want to do the wrong thing.
The one time that I did allow myself to open my mind in order to receive impressions, I got two distinct energies. The first one was inside the house and focused in the second bedroom. It felt like the energy of a little girl around eight years old. I sensed that she was excited to have myself and the dogs living there. This would explain the house alarm going off and the loud bangs occurring inside the house when I got home. Perhaps she wanted me to be her mother and to stay there with her.
Also I felt the continuing presence of an 'angelic being' who was nurturing and protecting me. I felt this to be a shy and gentle energy and I felt nurturing and protective of it as well. There appeared to be an intertwining or braiding of consciousness occurring. It wasn't so much that my unconscious mind was creating the 'phenomena', but more as if there was a natural connection between multiple consciousnesses that combined and detached from the other. It was like the house was inside my mind and my mind was inside the house. Our consciousnesses were like two interlocking circles of energy, with each affecting and creating the other.
One night, after having fallen asleep on the lounge bed while watching television, I partially woke and, in that state between sleeping and waking, felt what can only be described as three grey featureless beings sitting inside my body. They seemed to be human and had the same physical shape, since I saw them in my mind. But there were no distinguishing facial features or clothing, They were like mannequins. I struggled to wake up but I couldn't. It felt like they were sitting inside my body watching television and having a conversation amongst themselves. I do not know what they said, only that they were wide awake and very active. The odd thing was that, while I was lying down, they appeared to be sitting up inside my body.
There was also constant phone interference. Sometimes when I was on the phone it would go static for no reason. Many times it would just hang up while I was talking to the person on the other end. Other times I could hear someone dialing on the line, while I was on a call. Then I would hear someone else pick the phone up and their conversation beginning in the background alongside my own. It seemed that while they couldn't hear me, I could hear them. That was the electric phone in the study. The main house phone also rang too many times to mention with someone hanging up on the answering machine. I was later to get a silent number, but the interference continued at several different residences, with Darwin Telstra workers being called out over a dozen times in order to rectify each new problem.
Then the monitored security alarm system began to go off. One day I was away for around half an hour with the dogs. I got back home and, as I opened the car door and stepped onto the driveway, the alarm went off. This happened twice. The first time it happened, the Chubb Security technicians came out and fixed what they thought to be the problem. They said that the alarm had been set off in the study. The explanation they gave was that it must have been triggered by cool air rising after I had switched off the aircon on my way out. The next time it went off the second I set foot in the driveway after arriving home. The technicians came out again. This time the disturbance had occurred in the second bedroom that also faced down onto the driveway. But this time they had no explanation. |
